Research

I am interested in all areas of computational statistics, probability and stochastic processes. Some topics I have worked on are the following:

• numerical solution of SPDEs
• MCMC methods, in particular in infinite dimensional spaces
• probability distributions on the torus
• large deviations for diffusion processes
• a parameter estimation problem in psychology

Other

• I play the Asian board game Go at the Leeds Go Club. We are looking for new players, so if you want to learn to play Go (or if you can already play), we would be happy for you to join in!
