Applications of Statistics to Life Sciences is a growing area – if the last century belonged to physics, then this century must belong to life sciences. Indeed, our LASR workshop website http://www.maths.leeds.ac.uk/statistics/workshop/

also gives some indication of the lead by our Department in this field.

Currently we have a large number of Ph.D. students in the area.
