Research

I am involved in the development of stochastic models that describe the immune response following exposure to a chemical skin sensitiser. The focus is to numerically implement the mathematical models developed, and to test, validate and refine the models with experimental data. The model will be used to enhance our understanding of effector and helper T cell responses during allergic contact dermatitis, and to estimate the size, quality and diversity of the T cell response. This allows the identification of the integral pathways that drive human adverse response.
