Last weekend (1/4/07) I was guest of the Orpheus caving club doing a trip down the
Derbyshire cave "P8". here are some photos ... those that came out.
Phil, who is with the Orpheus, looks thoroughly at home between the rock curtains leading up to the upper level belay point for the first pitch.
Mr. Solocavediver not in his caving gear.
Matt and Ralph discuss gear, in this case a headlamp.
A stream trickles into the entrance hole. Wetsuit recommended.

Pete observes...
Phil adjusts his gear near the bottom of the pitch (there's a little swing to his right to do in order to touch down in the right place).

Moving on.
It's time for an upper level traverse, bypassing the second pitch.
Moving on to Mud Hall.
