Scattering Theory and Wave Equations

16-18.06.2014

Mathematical Sciences

Loughborough University

Scientific Organizing Committee: C. Garetto, E. Hunsicker, A. Strohmaier

The workshop focuses on wave equations on geometric background and decay estimates with particular emphasis in bringing together experts from different branches of mathematics to create an atmosphere of interaction between the various approaches.

The meeting is preceded by the LMS regional meeting on 16.06.2014 (http://homepages.lboro.ac.uk/~maeh/waves14/lms14.html).

Accomodation will be at Premier Inn, Loughborough, for £29/night if booked online at the following link: Premier Inn, Loughborough. Breakfast may also be purchased there.

Other accomodation is available at:

Limited travel and accomodation funding is available for PhD students and LMS members. The conference dinner will be proceded by a wine reception in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at no cost. The conference dinner can be booked at a cost of £23. Some funding is also available for attendees who would like to come to the dinner. Please contact E.Hunsicker@lboro.ac.uk for information or to register for the dinner.
