Research

My research involves using stochastic models to investigate processes in the immune system. In particular, I am interested in the process of effector and regulatory T cell interactions with APCs. Regulatory T cells are a specialized subpopulation of T cells that act to suppress activation of the immune system and thereby maintain immune system homeostasis and tolerance to self-antigens. My supervisors are Grant Lythe, Carmen Molina-Paris and Mike Evans.
