Research
My area of research is applying mathematical modelling to study the mammalian immune system. I am studying the mechanisms involved in maintaining homeostasis of naive and memory T cell populations in the lymphatic system. In particular the role IL-7 and self-antigen signalling has in keeping the immune system primed for fighting infection. My supervisors are Carmen Molina-Paris, Mark Coles, and Stuart Barber.
