We are a small club, meeting weekly to play the game of go. We have no formal connection to the university, so you do not have to be a student of the university to join. Players of all abilities are welcome; we are very happy to teach beginners. There is no membership fee.
We meet Tuesday nights from 5:30pm to approximately 8:00pm somewhere around Leeds University. The precise location of our meetings varies a bit. If you are lucky the bottom of this page will mention where we meet next, if not please contact us to find out. Occasionally meetings are cancelled due to lack of interest, so again it is best to contact us if you want to be certain that there will be anybody there. The latest results and estimated strength of the members can be found at The Secret Go Portal.
The contact for the club is Jitse Niesen, e-mail jitse@maths.leeds.ac.uk, phone 0113 3435870.
Tuesday 22 May, we will meet in the Faversham from 5:30pm.
