I retired
in September 2007.
I was
a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Mathematics
at the University of Leeds, and was the Director of Mathematics
for Joint Honours in Science.
For
four years I was the first Director of the Centre for Nano-Device
Modelling - this is an interdisciplinary research centre set
up in the University to coordinate the work of various research
groups in this field.
I have
two main research interests - heterostructure semiconductor device
modelling, and six dimensional relativity. Outlines of these
interests can be viewed on the linked pages.
