To get the best results when preparing your project document, you should use LATEX. This is available on the ISS network, but you can also download all the software (FREE OF CHARGE) onto your own laptop or desktop machines. The instructions for these are given below.
Miktex is the underlying programme which converts your typing into a nice, professional looking document. This has to be downloaded and can be found at
Winshell is a Windows type "front end" for Miktex. It contains an editor with spell checker and many other devices for helping you to typeset. It also contains the "buttons" which instruct the background programmes like Miktex, postscript, ghostview, etc. This can be downloaded at
