Special Circumstances - Illness During Teaching
If
you are ill or cannot attend a teaching session for any reasons, you
are required to submit a request via the Portal to be excused. Please click here to
find out how.Requests for absences will be authorised or not depending on the reason provided and the frequency of the student's absence.
During
Exams
Anyone
who
misses
an
examination
for
any
reason should report this immediately to
the Maths Taught Student Office (0113-3431426 or 0113 3435140).
IMPORTANT
If
a
student
experiences
unusually
difficult
circumstances
due to medical or other personal
problems,
and would like the examiners to take these into consideration, the
student has
to submit to the Maths Taught Student Office a Special
Circumstances
Form by
the
following deadlines.
Whenever
possible,
requests
should
be
supported
by medical notes, or
other written supporting evidence.
!!! If you have submitted a medical note or any other material about personal circumstances previously, these will only be taken into consideration if you specifically request this using the Special Circumstances Form. !!!
