Elective Modules.

You can start to enrol for elective modules on 6th of June 2011.

Note: You need to choose optional and elective modules avoiding timetable clashes.

You can change your MATHS module choices ONLINE until 2nd of October 2011 (end of first teaching week). After that you can still change your module choices until the end of the 4th teaching week using a Change of Module form (available from the Maths Taught Student Office). But you are advised to finalise your choices by the end of the first teaching week. Note that online module enrolment for most non-Maths modules is closed for some time over the summer (mostly during the second half of August).

Go to the Registration and Module Enrolment Website for help on the enrolment process.

For UG students, go to Module Choices 11/12 for advice on how to choose your modules.

Change of Modules.
You can change your Math-module choices online until 2nd of October 2011. (For non-Math module different dates apply.)
After that  you can still change your modules by filling out a Change of Module Form before the following deadlines:

For Semester 1 and Semester 1&2 modules
21st of October 2011
For Semester 2 modules
17th of February 2012
3rd of February 2012 for LUBS modules

Change of Module forms can be obtained from the Maths Taught Student Office.

After these dates changes in your module choices can only be processed in exceptional cases.

Rules
  • All undergraduate students  must enrol for 120 or 125 credits at the beginning of each academic year. Students enrolled in modules totalling at least 100 credits, but less than 120 credits, will only qualify for an Ordinary Degree.
  • All MSc students must enrol for a total of 180 or 185 credits for the year.
  • Students should aim for an equal balance of credits between semesters 1 and 2. Imbalances larger than 75/45 need the approval from the Director of Learning & Teaching.
  • Students are not allowed to enrol on two mutually exclusive modules, as indicated in the Module Catalogue. This rules also applies to modules taken in different years.

Important for UG Students in Years 2, 3, and 4!
Your classification average will be calculated as a weighted average over all modules you are enrolled in for the year. Students who are interested in enrolling on additional "supernumery" modules beyond 125 credits can only do so with the permission of the Director of Learning & Teaching (normally a first class average is required). Supernumery modules are not included in the classification average.
