Evolving Networks:
Centrality Metrics and Dynamical Models

While networks and graphs represent an abstract description of relationships between things, it is often the case that such relationships change in time. Mathematicians and scientists have only recently begun to address this issue through the study of evolving or temporal networks. In this talk, I will review how certain centrality metrics translate to the case where the network evolves in either discrete or continuous time, and how we might model processes that generate evolving networks.
