The Conference Sites
Established in 1904 and now one of the largest in the UK, the University of Leeds is undoubtedly one of the most convenient university locations in the UK, half-way between London and Edinburgh.
A short walk from the city centre of Leeds brings you to the University campus. With no through traffic,
conference participants can benefit from a site where everything is close at hand and movement between the facilities is
easy.

- rail -
inter city main line connections (London in under two hours). the station
is one mile from the campus.
- air -
Leeds/Bradford Airport has shuttle services to UK and European destinations
and is only seven miles from the campus. Manchester International Airport is less
than an hour along the M62 motorway.
- road -
well served by a motorway system - M62, M1, A1.

Conference Lecture Theatres
- All sessions for Logic
Colloquium '97 will take place
in the Roger Stevens Building, on the University campus,
containing 25 theatres from 75 to 250 seats -
all fully equipped and tailor made for parallel sessions. Both chalk and
dry-wipe boards are available, as well as standard overhead projection
facilities.

Devonshire Hall
- All participants in Logic Colloquium '97 will have the opportunity
of accommodation in Devonshire Hall.
This is a hall of great character with Oxbridge style buildings and a long
history of satisfied conference participants.
Extensive new accommodation, including
en suite bedrooms mean that over 400 can be accommodated. The hall is
only one mile from the campus, within easy reach of the main
University facilities. The dining room seats 230 and will
be the venue for the Conference Banquet.
