LMS Northern Regional Meeting and Workshop on Homogeneous Structures

The University of Leeds will host the London Mathematical Society Northern Regional Meeting and Workshop on Homogeneous Structures, supported by the London Mathematical Society (LMS), in connection with the current EPSRC funded research project on Homogeneous structures, homomorphism-homogeneity, and automorphism groups.

The London Mathematical Society Northern Regional Meeting will be held on the afternoon of Tuesday 19th July 2011, and is open to a general mathematical audience. All interested, whether LMS members or not, are most welcome to attend this event. The speakers will be:

• Gregory Cherlin (Rutgers) The classification of homogeneous combinatorial structures
• Alexander Kechris (California Institute of Technology) The dynamics of automorphism groups of homogeneous structures

The Workshop on Homogeneous Structures will begin on the morning of 19th July, and will conclude on the afternoon of Friday 22nd July. The following have accepted invitations to speak:
