Workshop on Integrable Systems

This is one of 4 meetings, jointly organised by the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, Leeds, and Loughborough on Classical and Quantum Integrability ( CQI ).

These are partially funded by the London Mathematical Society , so there will be some support available to enable research students and post-docs to attend these meetings.

Friday, 11th March, 2005

Lectures will take place in LT9 of the Roger Stevens Building, adjacent to Mathematics.

Periodic Instantons and Periodic Monopoles.
3.00pm: Bernd Schroers (Heriot-Watt)
Poisson Lie groups and the phase space of 3 dimensional gravity.
4.00pm: TEA (Level 9, School of Mathematics)
4.30pm: Misha Feigin (Imperial College)
Bispectrality for deformed Calogero-Moser-Sutherland systems.

This session will finish at about 5.30pm

Saturday, 12th. March, 2005

Lectures will take place in Room J (Mathematics 8.21f).

9.30am: Sergei Tsarev (Krasnoyarsk)
Generalized Laplace transformations and integration of hyperbolic systems of linear partial differential equations.
10.30am: Guido Carlet (Cambridge)
Hamiltonian structures for the two-dimensional Toda hierarchy and R-matrices.
11.30am: COFFEE (Level 9, School of Mathematics)
12.00am: Maxim Pavlov (Moscow)
DKP hierarchy and Hamiltonian structures.

The meeting will finish at about 1.00pm
