Tetley Hall

NEEDS in Leeds (the meeting, the accommodation and meals) will take place at Tetley Hall, which is a student hall of residence, situated in Headingley, 2 miles north west of the centre of Leeds.

All participants will have single occupancy rooms (unless a twin is requested), with the price of this and the meals included in the conference fee.

There are a limited number of twin rooms available. An accompanying person (who is not a participant) will be charged £160 (sharing a twin room with breakfast and evening meal) or £240 (single room with breakfast and evening meal).

Tetley Hall is situated in its own grounds and consists of five Victorian houses, one 1920s house and a modern block. The hall is located in Headingley, one of the most pleasant areas of Leeds, which has its own full range of local shops, restaraunts and pubs as well as a cinema five minutes' walk away.

In the hall there are five pianos, including a Bechstein grand, pool tables, a bar, a music room and a video (locally there are several video rental shops). There are two libraries in the hall, one reference and one fiction. There is a launderette, which can be used by participants.
