- The Oxford Centre for Nonlinear PDE are offering bursaries to undergraduates (from any UK or EU higher education institution) in the middle years of their degree to work on a research project for a period of up to 10 weeks during the summer vacation.
- The new Scientific Director of the ICMS is to be Professor Keith Ball (UCL).
- The 2011 Wilkinson Prize for high quality numerical software will be awarded at ICIAM 2011 in Vancouver, 18-22 July 2011. Submissions must be received by 1 September 2010.
