Academic Fellowship University of Surrey Applications are invited for an Academic Fellowship funded jointly by Research Councils UK and the University of Surrey. This national scheme aims to provide a stable path into academia for research staff and consists of a 5-year Fellowship with a permanent academic position guaranteed at the end of the Fellowship, subject to the successful completion of a probationary period. During the 5-year period of the Fellowship, the successful candidate is expected to develop a strong research profile, with a small amount of teaching and outreach to schools included from the third year onwards. Funding for equipment and travel will also be provided.
