Workshop on dynamics of piecewise isometries

There was a half-day meeting on 23rd August 2001 at the School of Mathematics of the University of Exeter examining recent progress and ongoing research into the dynamics of discontinuous mappings that are piecewise isometries. Lectures were presented by Franco Vivaldi (QMW), Miguel Mendes (Surrey), Arek Goetz (San Francisco State University), Xin-Chu Fu (Exeter) and Guillaume Poggiaspala (Luminy, Marseille).
