Contributed talks

We plan to have a small number of contributed talks (approximately 25 minutes) given mainly by research students and postdoctoral fellows. If you would like to give a contributed talk, please indicate this under `Comments' on the registration form, and send a title and abstract (at most half a page) to Dugald Macpherson, as soon as possible. There are only a few slots available, so unfortunately we may not be able to accept all offers of talks.
Titles and abstracts of accepted talks will be displayed on the web.
Financial Support for Research Students

UK-based research students who register by July 5, 2004 will receive a 50 percent contribution towards their accommodation costs, provided they attend the whole meeting.
They will also receive a 50 percent contribution towards their travel costs, up to a maximum of 40 pounds.

Click here for information on how to get to Leeds University. Or here for more detailed information from the School of Mathematics homepage.
If you would like accommodation to be provided at Lyddon Hall - which is very close to the meeting - this can be requested on the registration form. The campus map shows the location of Lyddon Hall.
Other meetings

There are two other logic meetings of interest to be held nearby in Manchester just after BLC 2004.
These are Advances in Modal Logic 2004 (AiML), 9 - 11 September 2004, and a TARSKI Workshop, 12 - 13 September 2004, both at the University of Manchester, UK.
